When you purchase a TriStone Solid Surface bench top, you're covered by the TriStone 10 year commercial warranty.
TriStone™ 10 Year Limited Commercial Warranty
General Terms and Conditions
This warranty, provided by Lion Chemtech, applies to the original owner of a permanently installed TriStone™ Solid Surface. In order for this warranty to apply, TriStone™ must be fabricated and installed by authorized fabricator/installer, utilized and maintained according to the instructions provided by Lion Chemtech.
During the first 10 years after the date of initial installation of TriStone™ product, any manufacturing failure (as determined by an a warranty service agent), not including damages caused by physical or chemical abuse, damages from excessive heat, or damages from acts of nature, is covered under this warranty.
This warranty does not cover the following:
- Misuse.
- Abuse.
- Improper installation or maintenance.
- Failure to follow instructions provided in the Tristone™ User Guide (available at www.tristonesurfaces.com) including, but not limited to, fabrication, installation, care, maintenance. etc.
- Physical, chemical or other abuse including, but not limited to, damage from improper cleaning solutions such as bleach or drain cleaner, damages from vandalism, stains, scratches, water spots, and dropping of heavy/sharp objects.
- Excessive heat exposure to a degree that would cause the product to display white marks, cracks and other unreasonable defect.
- Acts of nature including, but not limited to, weather effects, fire, flood extreme exposure to the outdoors.
- Removal or dissatisfaction in appearance of accessory items including, but not limited to, joints, seams, adhesive, caulk, etc.
- Minor conditions such as scratches, stains, burn marks, water stops and other. Due to the unique properties of Tristone™ Solid Surface, these minor conditions can be corrected by following techniques specified in Tristone™ Care & Maintenance (available at www.tristonesurfaces.com).
- Workmanship of the Fabricator or Installer.
- Colour variation from the Sample.
- Damages from other than manufacturing defect.
If the customer is unsatisfied with the colour selection of the product during or after the installation of TriStone™ product, this warranty does not cover the correction of the colour selection.
TriStone™ not installed by authorized fabricators/installers is not covered under this warranty, nor products made by other suppliers or manufacturers.
Warranty Transfer
This 10 Year Limited Commercial Warranty is not transferable or assignable.
This Limited Commercial Warranty will expire if sold, transferred or assigned.
Repair or Replacement Service
Lion Chemtech, at its sole option, will determine whether to provide materials for the repair or replacement of products related to the installation of the product with a manufacturing defect.
All other costs associated with or in association with the repair or replacement of manufacturing defect will be the responsibility of the customer.
Though Lion Chemtech seeks to ensure the highest satisfaction in the quality of our products, exact colour match during the repair or replacement cannot be guaranteed.
Should Lion Chemtech opt to provide materials for the repair or replace your TriStone™ installation, the warranty limit does not extent from the date of repair or replacement, but will continue from the original installation date.
Specific Rights
Lion Chemtech makes no warranties, express or implied, in respect to the Product, including, but not limited to, any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
All such warranties are hereby expressly disclaimed. Lion Chemtech’s obligation is limited solely to what is stated in this limited warranty.
Except as provided herein, Lion Chemtech shall not be liable in either tort or contract for any loss of direct, consequential or incidental damages arising out of the use or inability to use TriStone™.
Lion Chemtech does not warrant that the Product will meet the end users’ requirement.
Lion Chemtech makes no warranties, express or implied, in respect to the Product, including, but not limited to, any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
Some States do not allow the exclusion or limitation stated above, so the above exclusion or limitation may not apply to you. This Limited Warranty gives you specific legal rights.
You may also have other rights, which will vary from State to State or, in Canada from Province to Province.
