Silversafe matting is certified by an independant internationally recognized standards organisation.

Silversafe matting holds a certificate of conformity from TÜV Rheinland, a standards organization that specializes in the highest international quality assurance.

This evaluation, based on randomly proformed spot tests, notes that 24 hours after exposing both Staphylococcus Aureus and Escherichia Coli (common causes of food poisoning) to a sample of the silversafe matting product, the bacteria were no longer detected.

In another evaluation, silversafe matting was confirmed to contain no detectable traces of heavy metals.
